Yesterday, I decided I would love to shed light on all upcoming transits: Gemini season, venus moving into Cancer & mars moving into Leo, and the saturn and mercury retrogrades. For the reading of Gemini season, I used my Super Attractor deck. For the reading of venus & mars, I used the astrology dice. For the reading of the retrogrades, I used the Medicine Woman deck. Maybe at some point, you lost your connection to the collective consciousness. It wasn’t entirely your fault, whether it was a trauma response or an inability to access the energy necessary. Like night and day, you want to hide and be perceived in the same moment. Having anxiety over people possibly thinking about you is way easier than having anxiety over people possibly not thinking about you. Truthfully, there is no need for psychological statistics to ease our minds, offering insight to what might be the “normal” amount of time to spend thinking about a situation or person. All you need is to find the wholeness within, embrace yourself as the ultimate observer of you. In other words, be your own biggest fan this summer and you will find that everyone else becomes a fan of yours too.

When I think of Virgo, I often imagine a person stopping to smell the flowers. In many ways, Virgo is the unseen beauty of the signs. A goddess who bluntly expresses herself, and is emotionally reactive to romantic gestures in private. Anyways, this summer will be fortunate for you in the areas of familial trauma and healing. The habits that you inherited but did not choose will shed off you in this time, allowing for the revealing of your true self. Take it easy, my friend. It is not easy to become one with your true self. You will find doubt, confusion, and apathy in the space in between your unconditional universe sent love. This is okay, this is the way life is. Make art about it, if you dare. At the very least, write about it on some lined people and then bury it in the woods. Being open-minded to your own multitudes is the process of giving life to an infinite number of selves. Let them all go.

Don’t take this game too seriously. It’s just a minimum wage worker mini-game, and it wins you all the coins to play the fun games. It’s just a daily vlog channel for a student, and it’s really aesthetically pleasing to watch. I think you’re picking up what I’m putting down, Libra. Whatever it takes, you must learn to embrace every single moment to the fullest appreciation. This doesn’t mean quitting your job and traveling, but rather finding the purpose in any given moment you spend at work. Not just professional settings, but academic, romantic, and platonic ones as well. Pay deep attention to your friend’s unusual interest monologue, write a nice message on a customer’s receipt, when the wind blows past you make sure you smell it. Time is moving one second at a time and yet none of them seem to exist when we really focus on them. A watched pot never boils and a planned future never satisfies. Unnecessary tension comes from not trusting yourself, which comes from not trusting the universe. You are one, remember? So recently you have gone through a painful time. It seemed that life was heading in the direction of stability, specifically around your support system. Seemingly out of nowhere, most of the people you finally began to trust turned that decision around on you. It’s okay that you’ve felt so ashamed, you’ve isolated yourself in your own world. Going on years now of unnecessarily waiting around to save the world from disaster, and here you are. The illusion between false self and true self trembles like summer heat waves and yet you were always who you needed to be for yourself anyways. Through trial and error, you have manifested an audience for your healing talents. Now that they are here, try not to be shy. Trust your own intentions when you speak so confidently of the universe. Arriving now is your moment to say, “I told you so,” to anyone you’d like. Your undying faith in the universe, even at your lowest points, is now your pride. As this summer unfolds, moments of magic will clarify all that you’ve known to be true; this world is becoming a new, healthier place. You will find the love that you deserve, the wealth that you desire, and the freedom that you’ve embraced. It is imperative that you are prideful for every part of your human self. Rejecting yourself in any capacity manifests only stagnation. Let go of the self-criticism so the self-love can create a more fertile soil to grow your future in. As the magical moments unfold and more people take notice of spirituality as a necessity, remain unbothered by your previous knowledge. MY AFTER-THOUGHT

Summer holds a tender weight in my heart. It is something otherworldly, summer has this way of being everything it ever was and will be all at once. Both the wet-footed eight year old pool runner and the underage drinking sixteen year old girl chaser would love the summer again each year. Both the school supply addicted thirteen year old new bisexual and the poetry obsessed twenty year old romantic would mourn the loss of summer even in early August.

As I got into astrology and found the summer signs to be Gemini, Cancer, and Leo, in that order, much more made sense about my love of the summer. It begins with the nearly unnerving curiosity and child-like determination to try everything once of Gemini season. This flows decently well into the alluring but nostalgic innocence of Cancer season, the way it makes us grieve and give all at once. By the time the Sun embraces itself in Leo, we have cried so much for our inner child that we are light enough to end the summer as though it were a movie, giving ourselves credit as the main character again. Everything about this combination of signs says lake swimming, cliff jumping, hiking in dirty socks, grilling foods, being out as long as the sun, darkening freckles, wet poolside books. If you couldn’t already tell, I love the summer.

Like I said in my blog post, “Dear Diary,” yesterday, I wish I could do more than just a reading on the internet. I wish I could hang out with people during the reading, let in their energy, and return it with far more profound realizations than a general reading can offer. However, general readings offer a romantic perspective of collective sign experience. Somehow, these words must apply over a variety of human experiences. That is magical.

Do I ever wonder if my readings will not apply to the people reading them?

Only the entire time I’m writing them, but I have faith in the universe so I don’t care 🙂
